The full day Genomic & Precision Medicine Research Symposium united some of Florida’s most accomplished research & healthcare professionals while laying the foundation for long lasting national & international collaboration!

The fundraising events that followed brought in record setting numbers to support their transformative work & bring The Sunshine Genetics Program statewide!

The 2 day event sold over 600 tickets uniting international experts in genomic NBS, gene therapy, data privacy & AI innovation in healthcare.

There was so much excitement in the room about how Florida is leading the nation with The Sunshine Genetics Act!

Proceeds from the event will help support the statewide expansion of this transformative program!

MAJOR FUNDRAISING: U.S. Rep. Byron Donalds and his affiliated political action committee have raised more than $81.1 million for his Florida gubernatorial bid since launching the campaign, including $13.8 million during April and May alone, his campaign announced.

The haul from more than 35,000 donors underscores Donalds’ strong financial position as he is the favorite to seek the Republican nomination for governor. The campaign said the total includes $9.2 million raised by Byron Donalds for Governor and $71.8 million by Friends of Byron Donalds PAC.
