After a few weeks of craziness, we are starting to reset. Businesses, homes and lives and our landscape have been changed forever. We took our first trip out to investigate what the St Joseph Sound waters had in store for us and found significant changes to the barrier islands, Honeymoon, 3 rooker bar, and Anclote key.

The small new pass at Honeymoon is the first picture before and after. The sand bar is completely under water now and the pass that was 30 feet wide is now closer to 100 yards.
Areas of the northern tip of Honeymoon gone, its about half or less of the sand bar area that was there.

The southern part of 3 rooker is mostly the same while the northern end is a small sand bar, maybe 2 to 3 boat lengths in sand out at high tide.

Anclote Key southern tip beach is mostly all gone and the west side beach area is eroded back to the trees, where it was in some places 30-40 feet wide.

We are very thankful to have a home and community still, unlike so many of those devastated here locally and in Western NC.

We are slowly getting back up and running, and thankful for all the outpouring of support and tireless work from our first responders and utility workers getting our area re-stabilized.

Thank you Hien and Jeffrey Lu for a great day on the water, we had a nice inshore Slam and with Aidens tarpon, a grand Slam on the boat today. I thought I took a pic of the snook, but apparently I did not. Still it was a great day!
