We were grateful to accept a grant today from Diane Schlesinger, M.D., Trustee of the Anderson Children's Foundation. Funding will provide for one of our new reading nooks in the Children’s Area of the soon-to-be transformed library. We look forward to naming the reading nook in honor of Irene W. and Guy L. Anderson, who founded their Foundation, which has been serving children of the Coachella Valley since 1970.

There are more opportunities to donate to the library foundation's capital campaign, including additional naming opportunities! Find out more at:

Incoming Board President Jim Gray and Library Director Jeannie Kays gratefully accepted a grant from the Coeta and Donald Barker Foundation, represented by Trustees John Williams and Melissa Russo. Funds will be used as a matching grant for half of the cost of a learn/play structure for the Children’s Area in the PSPL. Bighorn Cares is supporting half of the project as well. Isn't it fabulous when the community comes together?! 🥰
THANK YOU!
