I still have songs from the new Tori Amos album in my head every day all day, two weeks later. That is information in 2026. I listen to at least a few songs every day and often make time to listen to the whole thing in sequence. I have continued to be surprised by this album. I feel the 80s and my youth...like some songs would have been deep Pat Benatar cuts I would have loved from Wide Awake in Dreamland or Seven the Hard Way (produced by YKTR producer Joe Chiccarelli whom also engineered on Standing at the Edge). I feel now and her new singing era. I hear the musicianship from every player. The songs are moving me and getting deep in my bones.
