I am writing to express my deep concern regarding recent developments in the case of Pearl Fernandez, the perpetrator in Gabriel's case.

We have learned that Pearl Fernandez has filed a petition with the court seeking resentencing for her life sentence.
As a result, we are required to appear in court on March 30, 2026, to formally object to her petition. Notably, the hearing will be held before the same judge who originally sentenced her.

The court hearing details are as follows:

Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center, 210 W. Temple St., Dept 107, Los Angeles, CA 90012, on the 9th floor at 8:30 A.M.
