Intense winter weather is affecting much of Alaska, and our roads are feeling it. Please use your headlights, give yourself extra time, keep plenty of space between vehicles, pack cold‑weather gear, and show patience on the drive. And if you come across troopers or other emergency responders on the shoulder, remember to slow down and give them the room they need to work safely.

Work still continues on the OLD GLENN HWY. One lane road closure with Flaggers. The crew should be wrapping it up after Thanksgiving. Thank you for driving safe in and around the workzone. You will see crews on the road from 7am to 7pm give or take. Monday thru Sunday till done. No work on Thanksgiving as we will be taking time with friends and family. Be safe on the roads so that we can all make it home. Thank you again for your patience.
