Join the Redwood City community for a Disability Pride Flag Raising Ceremony on Wednesday, July 22, at 5:30 p.m. at Courthouse Square. ❤️💛🤍💚💙🖤🤎

🌎 This year’s Disability Pride Month theme is “The World Works Better With Us,” a reminder that our communities are stronger when people of all abilities are included, valued and able to fully participate.

The City will raise the Disability Pride Flag in recognition of Disability Pride Month, and Mayor Elmer Martinez Saballos will present a proclamation declaring July as Disability Pride Month in Redwood City. The ceremony will also feature remarks from Angela Piazza, Redwood City resident and Ms. Wheelchair California 2019, and Olenka Villareal, founder and CEO of Magical Bridge Foundation.
