What do we do when we trim your tree?
When we do a full trim, we have many goals. A few of them are improving the safety of your family and home, helping your tree take less damage in storms, making it look better aesthetically, and supporting better overall tree health.
As far as what we actually do during the trim, we cut out all dead wood, trim crossing and rubbing branches, remove damaged limbs, reduce weight on long or overextended branches, and thin the tree from top to bottom as needed for better airflow and light pe*******on. We also cut off lower branches and foliage to elevate the bottom of the canopy to the customer’s desired height, improve clearance over homes, driveways, sidewalks, roofs, and other areas when needed, and remove nuisance sprouts or low growth where appropriate.
Every tree is different, so trimming depends on the species, the condition of the tree, and the customer’s goals. This is what we call a full trim. Less can always be done to help with your budget.
We also make sure the job site is cleaned up when the work is done.
