Butte County Fire Safe Council
Providing wildfire education, mitigation, and recovery to Butte County communities since 1998. Vital to our organization is our active membership program.
Thank you to everyone who came out on June 6 to celebrate the 5th Annual Paradise Grazing Festival with us - this was our liveliest year yet, and it's because of this community.
We're so grateful for the chance to share targeted grazing as a working tool for wildfire prevention here in Butte County. A huge thank you to our volunteers, bands, vendors, partners, and every single person who showed up to make it happen. We couldn't do this without you.
Curious about targeted grazing? Link in bio.

Wildfires do not stop at jurisdictional boundaries.
Responsibility for the state’s lands is shared among state, local, federal and tribal agencies. About half of California is land managed by the federal government, while CAL FIRE protects State Responsibility Area and local agencies serve cities and other Local Responsibility Areas.
Coordinated planning, shared resources and strong partnerships help protect communities and natural resources across California.
