Paradise Seed Library

The 16th Annual Chico Seed & Scion Swap was one for the books!

The weather was beautiful and the community really showed up to this much anticipated event. People brought everything from seeds, bulbs, vines, cuttings, scions, growing tools & supplies, books, containers, even potted plants & trees!

The homegrown seed exchange was neat to participate in, so many had great stories and knowledge to share about their growing experiences. That's where all the best seed are. Hope we can see more of this at our Paradise Seed & Plant Swap on March 14th!

Thank you to Sherri Scott & Harvests & Habitats Nursery for keeping this amazing event alive each year. It takes a lot of work and a lot of help to pull all of this together and somehow it gets better and better!

Thank you to the 1078 Gallery & Equilateral Coffee for hosting. It is so nice to have coffee & art while you are seed swapping!

There were so many individuals who came out to volunteer, I'm not going to try and name everyone because I know I will forget some. Thank you to each and every human who took the time to make this such a beautiful day!!

I put some more crimson clover seed out at the food stand in a bucket (please don't take the bucket) next to the little free seed library. Paper bags are there to use.

We had a wonderful time at the tree giveaway event put on by Camp Fire Restoration Project this weekend in Paradise!

There was a huge turnout and we were able to share seeds with so many wonderful people rebuilding their homes & property.

We put the leftover seed into the little free seed library at 5696 Brookview Way.

Also, since there was a big interest in the crimson clover seed, we put a bucket of seed there as well.
There are paper bags to use, please don't take the buckets. 🙏
