Swipe to see the transformation of one of our Witch Hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) at in Frankfort, KY. The unique floral display of yellow confetti petals appear in the fall, alongside a plant-wide shift of lettuce green leaves to coppery yellow. Look close (and keep swiping) to see a little friend 🐝 enjoying the snack.

This is the fastest we have sold out of Witch Hazel this year! More are in line for next year. In the meantime, we do have many species still available that would enjoy similar spots to Witch Hazel incl. Hazelnut and Spicebush 🟡⭐️🌝

A spectrum of hues and tart sweet tastiness in ! Has your harvest begun too? These were planted in a grove on the farm 2 years ago. When they were just 2 years old. Now, we enjoy some fruits of our labor, alongside the birds and butterflies of course (see last pic ☺️)
Elderberry is a GREAT choice when starting to establish orchards/food forests. They can produce as early as 4 years old.
