This 1980s kitchen was ready for a fresh start. It was dark, dated, and lacked the natural light and function the homeowners needed.

We opened up the floor plan by removing the dining room wall, raising the ceilings, and reworking windows and doors to maximize light and flow. Oak floors were installed and finished in a rich walnut stain, running seamlessly through the kitchen and living area to unify the space.

Stained hazel perimeter cabinets and a mushroom-toned island are paired with matte black hardware. Details including furniture-style legs and paneling on the island added character and craftsmanship. Making the island feel more like a piece of furniture. We chose a soft creamy quartz for the perimeter countertops and a glazed subway tile backsplash to balance the warmth of the wood elements. A stained wood island top, custom hood, and floating shelves provide continuity and a timeless, layered finish.

Thoughtful space planning made room for cherished antiques and everyday functionality. The result is a kitchen that feels personal, purposeful, and at home in its surroundings.

We’re proud to have delivered a design that honors the homeowners’ vision and enhances how they live in the space every day.

A complete refresh. Not every remodel needs to be a full gut renovation.

This home was transformed with a focus on refined updates rather than invasive remodeling. In the kitchen, we maintained the original layout but reimagined the space with clean white cabinetry going to the ceiling to gain more storage, and a stunning blue herringbone backsplash to compliment the blue detail in the quartz countertops. Brushed brass hardware and lighting added a warm, modern finish.

And the fireplace? A bold yet elegant change, proving that even a single statement upgrade can redefine a room.
