Smart 911 is a free, opt-in service in which you create a Safety Profile. Your Smart911 Safety Profile can include as much or as little information as you want 911 and first responders to have in the event of an emergency. When anyone in your household dials 911 from a landline or cellphone associated with their Safety Profile, their profile is immediately displayed to the emergency dispatcher.

Your Safety Profile is secure and confidential and is only used by emergency responders. Some of the information that could be life-saving includes:

Home and work addresses (which mobile phones do not currently provide to a 911 dispatcher)
People living in your household
Medications and medical equipment
Medical conditions and allergies
Pets, service animals
Property details, layout, and utility information
Vehicle descriptions
Phone numbers associated with your family
Emergency contacts
