Happy anniversary, my dear ! I don’t know about you, but I can’t believe it’s been 11 years since I did your hair on that special day. Do you remember how much we laughed when we started ? You kept asking how I was doing it, and honestly, I had no clue! 😂 But looking back, it still turned out so elegant and timeless—beautiful and feminine, just like you.

I’m truly grateful for our friendship and all the memories we’ve made together. Wishing you and many more years filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures. Cheers to you two and thank you for choosing me to be your godmother!

As winter begins to wane and nature starts to stir, Romania prepares to welcome spring with the age-old tradition of Mărțișor. Dating back thousands of years, Mărțișor marks the arrival of the new season and is celebrated on March 1st with joy and anticipation.

At its heart, Mărțișor embodies the renewal of life, vitality, and the triumph of light over darkness. The tradition involves the exchange of small tokens of goodwill—typically red and white threads adorned with small ornaments such as flowers, hearts, or even tiny figurines.

The red thread symbolizes life, passion, and vitality, while the white thread represents purity, peace, and the promise of new beginnings. Together, they embody the harmony and balance of nature as it transitions from winter to spring.

In addition to the threads, traditional Mărțișor decorations often feature small charms, coins, or trinkets believed to bring luck, health, and prosperity in the coming year.
