Today project.
“tabula rasa” - clean slate
Some healed, some fresh
A client of mine once asked me “Are you sure it’s black and grey? It looks like pink ink.”
Redness is part of the tattoo process. Some people have less of it, some more. As a tattooer it can feel daunting to trust the end shades when all you see is layers of red.
I do a lot of large tattoos requiring multiple sessions which means two complete different looks; healed versus fresh. I loved tattooing this project and my client heals beautifully regardless of the redness. I hope that on my next San Francisco trip I’ll be able to take some photos of her healed arm.
My next travel is in August. I will be driving up to PNW and stopping by San Francisco, Portland, (potentially Seattle) I am taking waitlist for Santa Cruz.
This week there isn’t much gore, but rather bone chilling anxiety.
While editing this I realized that there are now 4 seasons of doctor 💀 out there. And apparently they did make a dramatized TV series for as well! But I highly highly recommend the Netflix documentary series based on the season 2 podcast.
Any recommendations you’d like to give me?
Excited to tattoo these designs. I have been asked a lot for single day session designs. As you might know already I offer discounted rates for my pre-drawn designs. I will be posting a set of small 1-2h sessions designs soon. For time estimates; I have a handful of sessions available for July and then my Los Angeles availability jumps to September onwards. In August I will be booking San Francisco, Portland + Ashland, Santa Cruz.
I will always love tattooing flowers as much as I love admiring the fleeting beauty of the blossoms.
