Zach Stevens is Vice President of Media Relations at Weber Shandwick and serves as President-Elect of PRSA-LA for the 2027–2028 term.

With extensive experience in earned media, brand communications, and integrated campaigns, he has led high-profile initiatives for nationally recognized brands, including Super Bowl campaigns for Liquid I.V. and OIKOS.

Known for his expertise in strategic storytelling and media relations, Stevens is committed to advancing the communications profession and building meaningful connections across the industry.

Did you know the birth of modern Public Relations was a train wreck?

At a time when most companies avoided the media during crises, Lee encouraged transparency by sharing accurate information directly with reporters, a groundbreaking approach that helped shape modern public relations and crisis communications.

More than a century later, transparency, trust, and timely communication remain at the heart of effective PR.

Earning the APR is no small accomplishment. It requires preparation, discipline, professional reflection, a deep understanding of communications strategy and ethics, and the commitment to be evaluated by peers at the highest level. It also takes support, focus, and perseverance to complete the process while continuing to lead, serve clients, and contribute to the profession.

Stacy is a seasoned, award-winning public relations professional with nearly 20 years of experience across multiple industries and media verticals. She currently serves on our chapter’s Board of Directors and chairs the Independent Practitioners Alliance, where she continues to support and elevate fellow communications professionals.
