Looking to add a dog to your family? SLO County Animal Services has some really nice pups available for adoption right now! Here’s a “behind the scenes” look at how volunteers walk the dogs and make play groups to help make the shelter a more fun place for the dogs to wait for their forever homes! There are so many dog-friendly dogs that have been waiting months to be adopted…come see if any of them are a good match for your current dog! Visitors are welcome to stop by the shelter during open kennel hours Monday-Saturday 1:00-5:00 (extended until 7:00pm on Wednesdays). You can also call the shelter ahead of time at (805) 781-4400 to make an appointment to meet a specific dog! 01/28/2025
