This year we bring to you 2022 Before Anyone Else, 2021 Understory, and 2021 Backlit.

Hello friends. In anticipation for what will be a very special day, we would like to ask that you share a story about JoAnn. You can tell us about a favorite memory you have with JoAnn, the first time you met her, a time she got you in trouble, or a time she inspired you. Take your time, remember the details, crack a smile, maybe shed a tear. Once you have your memory, we request that you type it out and send it to the email provided below by August 17th, we will be displaying her stories at her celebration of life:

This is not a graded assignment, and you can write as much or as little as you want, be it a paragraph, a page, or a novel. We will collect the memories and have them on display at the ceremony so that everyone is free to read them at their leisure.
