Been awhile since I posted. As always things are staying busy. The hot electrical items of the moment are remodel recessed light installs. Also changing or adding bath fans.

Prices are going up on a few items (pvc and wire) but a lot are staying steady. Some supply issues (getting things that may be out of stock or delayed) but we are dealing with it and not to many issues that have sidetracked us in a major way.

I have lived in SLO county for 41 years and I have never seen construction, in all trades, so busy. We are taking calls as always but it just may be a bit of time getting on the schedule. Thanks.

Question that is coming up a lot this week is.........are we open. Yes. We are doing all our usual work from service to new installations. We are being smart and using proper recommendations to protect us and our customers. We are very busy this time of year and Santa is helping out on the bender for us!!

Last week I listened to a webinar on the coming 2020 changes to code. There are going to be quite a few that are taking us further in regards to safety and GFI protection that will now be required on 240 volt devices in the home.

Also there are some other things and changes that are coming.

Today just got though with another webinar on the changing technologies of type C USB that we can use on plugs in the home. What we have now has existed for about 10 years but the industry is standardizing across all manufactures (Google, Samsung, Apple, etc) for ease and efficiency for end user.

This is another type of way we help and inform our customers. By staying up to date with our changing industry. You may think all would do this but you would be surprised how many don't.
