Brooke and Denise are the mother/daughter team that will be speaking at the Ladies Conference in Atascadero on March 20th and 21st.
Denise Wendorff is the Director of Women and Community, at The River Church South Bay, in Palos Verdes, California. She and her husband planted the church ten years ago. Denise has been a part of women’s ministry at many different churches including Saddleback Valley Community Church and Willow Creek Church.
She has co-authored and produced the “Doing Life Together” DVD-based Bible Study series, which sold over 3 million copies. She was a contributing author of “The Storm Inside” Bible study. Denise serves on the Young Life Board in New York City and most recently launched, Women Who Lead in Business and Culture, in New York City. She and her husband Todd have been married 29 years and have three grown children.
Brooke Andrews has a beating heart for authentic discipleship and a desire to help others grasp the living, breathing Word of God.
She is a lover of people and a passionate student and teacher of the words and ways of Jesus. She has served at The River Church of the South Bay for more than 16 years and is now on staff, focusing on leadership development and teaching. Brooke also teaches biblical interpretation and spiritual formation at Biola University as an adjunct professor.
Brooke has taught at retreats, events, and schools as far as Australia but her favorite place to teach the Word of God is on the beach at her home church. Over the past several years she has also worked with the Luis Palau Association to encourage unity in the local Church, mobilize believers to serve their cities, and share the Good News all over the world.
Brooke has a degree in communication from the University of Southern California and a masters degree in Bible exposition from the Talbot School of Theology. She has been married to her husband George for 12 years and the Lord has blessed them with three children.
