For families facing crisis, a safe place to stay can change everything.

In 2025, Paterson Task Force shelters provided warmth, meals, care, and guidance to individuals and families working toward stability.

From 18,843 meals provided to 179 individuals served, every act of support helped restore hope and dignity for our neighbors in need.

Preparedness is part of care.

Recently, the Paterson Fire Department visited Paterson Task Force to provide fire extinguisher training for our shelter staff members. This important training gave our team hands-on knowledge to strengthen safety, emergency readiness, and confidence in responding when every second matters.

Our shelter staff members show up every day to support individuals and families in moments of need. Trainings like this help ensure they are prepared to keep our spaces safe, calm, and responsive.

Thank you to the Paterson Fire Department for sharing your time, expertise, and commitment to community safety.
