During the annual St.Patrick’s Day pub tour the Rhode Island Professional Firefighters Pipes and Drums Band made a stop at the Rhode Island State House. During their stop the band entered the Senate Chamber and played for the Rhode Island State Senate.

Around 12pm this afternoon Pawtucket Fire Alarm was notified about a possible house fire at 75 fountain street.Arriving company’s found heavy fire on the first and second floors of a multi family home. Pawtucket Fire department made quick work and had the fire under control within an hour. Mutual company’s responded from Central Falls, Providence, Attleboro and Lincoln bringing the fire to three alarms. No injuries were reported.
