The difference between breathing and breathing on purpose:

Our normal what we call “everyday breathing” is not something we typically are aware of, and depending on our emotional state will be quicker or slower, more shallow or more deep.

Breathing on purpose (mindful breathing/,intentional breathing/ yoga breathing or pranayama ) is not dependent on our emotional state but is a conscious choice to use our breath to get to a certain emotional state.

It’s a powerful tool that you’ll never leave at home.
