This week our Maryland team was on-site at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) inspecting a deluge fire sprinkler system ✈️💦
Unlike common wet pipe sprinkler systems that activate one head at a time, a deluge system releases water across the entire area all at once. In high-hazard environments like airports, that kind of rapid response can make all the difference.
It’s a reminder that a lot goes into keeping these terminals safe. And we're proud to be part of it for every traveler getting home, getting away, or just getting where they need to go.

Dan came to Encore as an auto mechanic with no experience in fire protection. Now he's a licensed journeyman who bought the house of his dreams and has the flexibility to grow in the field. His apprenticeship journey is proof that the right opportunity can change everything.

Congrats to Encore apprentices, Anthony Gallo and Jake Riel who took the top two spots at the American Fire Sprinkler Association New England Chapter Trade Show Apprentice Competition in Manchester, NH — building a mock single system riser against the clock. 🥇🥈
