Great afternoon today at the Northwest Alliance Meet & Greet in Burrillville. Thank you to the Glocester Democratic Town Committee, North Smithfield Democrats, Burrillville Democrats, and Foster Democratic Town Committee for hosting such a fantastic event and for the opportunity to speak with so many engaged Democrats from across northwest Rhode Island.

A special thank you to Chairs Fred Hunt, Paul Jones, Kathy McElroy, and Linda Nichols for all of your hard work organizing today’s event. The Stillwater Pavilion was a beautiful setting, the music from Chris Principe was outstanding, and it was great spending the afternoon talking with voters, local leaders, and friends from across the region.

I’m grateful for the warm welcome and the growing support for our campaign for Attorney General.

Family is at the heart of everything here in Rhode Island.

Rhode Island is where I grew up, where I’ve dedicated my career to public service, and where Rachel and I are raising our children. Like so many families, we want a state where our kids can be safe and where opportunities are real. And yet so many families are feeling an enormous strain, and facing enormous challenges — including threats from the federal government itself.

That’s why I’m running for Attorney General.

I’ve spent my career protecting the public, holding wrongdoers accountable, and fighting for Rhode Islanders from the Attorney General’s Office in significant leadership positions. I know every tool we have and every way to fight for you. As Attorney General, I’ll continue that work fighting fraud and crime, protecting consumers and access to healthcare, defending fundamental rights, and keeping our communities safe. I’ve worked with AG Neronha, including leading alongside him our vital work to protect us all from the threat of the Trump administration, for years. His endorsement and strong support of my campaign comes from knowing me, my work, and what I’ll bring to the table to fight for you everyday.

With you at my side, we’ll continue to build a Rhode Island that is stronger, safer, and fairer for every family in our state.

The Providence Journal reported today that Rachel and I publicly released all 95 pages of our tax returns — every dollar we earned and every dollar we paid in taxes.

We’re the only Attorney General campaign to provide complete disclosure.

At a time when public confidence in government has been deeply damaged by massive federal corruption — and our own state’s history of foul play — Rhode Islanders deserve complete transparency from those seeking public office. There’s a difference between letting people peek through the front door window and inviting them to walk through the whole house.

We chose to open the whole house to you because we have nothing to hide. And that’s exactly what we need in our leaders today, particularly for anyone who wants to lead an office where accountability, integrity, and transparency are absolutely critical to the mission.

As AAPI Heritage Month comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the many communities, traditions, and stories that help shape Rhode Island into the special place it is today.

I was honored to attend the Lao New Year celebration in Smithfield and spend time with so many wonderful community members and families. Events like these are a reminder of the importance of celebrating culture, building connections, and recognizing the contributions that strengthen our state every day.

Rhode Island is at its best when we embrace the diversity, heritage, and shared values that bring our communities together.

Today, I joined Rhode Islanders from across our state at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Memorial Day is a solemn reminder that freedom is never free. We owe an enduring debt to those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and to the families who carry that sacrifice with them every day.

We remember them with gratitude, humility, and a commitment to build a country worthy of their service. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is a solemn day to honor the men and women who gave their lives serving our country in the Armed Forces.

We remember those whose sacrifice never brought them home to their families or the country they loved. And we remember, too, that the costs of service are often carried long after a veteran returns home.

My father died from cancer linked to Agent Orange exposure during his service in Vietnam. Like so many military families, ours knows that the consequences of war can be carried forward for generations.

Today, we honor and mourn our fallen service members not just with words, but by striving every day to build a country worthy of their sacrifice.

This morning, I joined the Little Compton Democrats for their annual Johnny Cake Breakfast. It was wonderful spending time with so many engaged Rhode Islanders and having thoughtful conversations about the future of our state and the importance of strong, independent leadership.

Thank you to the Little Compton Democratic Town Committee for the invitation and hospitality!

Great to spend time tonight with the Narragansett Democratic Town Committee and so many engaged local Democrats. I had a wonderful time talking with members about the issues facing Rhode Island, and hearing directly from people about their communities and priorities.

Always great catching up with Chairwoman Susan Cicilline-Buonanno and Councilman Alexander Menzies. Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome and a terrific evening!

Great to be with the East Providence Democratic City Committee last night at Davenport’s Bar and Grille.

It was an excellent turnout with so many engaged Democrats talking about the future of Rhode Island and the work ahead. Grateful for the warm welcome and the opportunity to share our campaign’s vision for a safer, stronger, and fairer Rhode Island for all of us.
