Our Story

REVEL Factory is a non-profit organization focused on providing the community an art an event space to explore their imagination and creativity along with classes, workshops, and school programs to connect ALL people to the healing powers of art.

REVEL Factory currently has two major programs that run regularly:

Jaqueline M. Walsh School for the Performing and Visual Arts
Event Planning Class:
In this class REVEL Professionals work with students to teach them the full scope of designing an event from concept creation, character development, set and costume design, marketing, event management, and performance. Students are given hands on, real-world experience both in the classroom and in the REVEL studio. They are also invited to perform in the event itself. The students and the REVEL Professionals work to build Night at the Haunted Museum - REVEL’s annual Halloween Event.

The Mirror Collective:
This FREE intergenerational arts program connects high school students from RI and MA with residents in a local assisted living facility, Saint Elizabeth’s Court. The program runs for 5 weeks in the summer (July - August) with a final showcase here at the REVEL studio to showcase the art created. Students work in whichever medium they choose (Dance, Theater, Visual Art, Music) to create works of art based on their senior partners life and experiences. There are weekly meetings between the students and residents, along with weekly studio art sessions. The goal of this project is to bridge the generational gap, create real world work and performance experiences for the students, and create an outlet and a bonding experience for the seniors. This program and the showcase are completely free to all who participate.
