Fish stocking alert! 🐟 🎣 We recently stocked 1,860 Gila trout into Green Valley Lakes in Payson, Ariz., which is kind of a big deal. Why?

Green Valley Lakes has only received two other Gila trout stockings in the past: October 2023 and October 2021. This is because we only stock Green Valley Lakes with Gila trout when excess are available from AZGFD and partner hatcheries.
