Flywheel book ends!!!!! I'd like to get some feedback on these, what do you all think?

So buddy Trent Gavin asked me if I could build him a floor lamp with some reclaimed parts, so off to the wrecking yard I went and found some pretty cool stuff. Here is what I came up with.
