Why is my gas bill so dang high?!

If your home uses gas you might have noticed a drastic increase in your gas bill. Most of us with average sized homes range from $20-50 monthly bills. However, this most recent bill for most homeowners has now doubled or tripled!!

We have had several clients reach out to us to see what their options are. Unfortunately, when it comes to regulated services such as gas, our hands are tied. We are forced to pay the rates provided by CenterPoint, there is no option to “change a plan” or “negotiate a lower cost”.

CenterPoint says it isn't making profit in spike in gas prices, but customers don't believe that "They say CenterPoint doesn't make money," said one customer. "I think someone is making money over this. I just hope they fix it."
