You know... I have a problem signing disclosures by a builder to perform an inspection... The disclosure states that I may not share any findings with anyone outside of builder and buyer... Only two Builders are requiring a signed formal letter to give up my right to free speech... I've been inspecting this builders homes for two years now... And now this... Word is out... I will find s #&@ that will cost them money... like tearing down a brick wall that seemingly has no visible problems to the naked eye... I wouldn't last as a builder's inspector because I would cost them too much money... Get it right the first time and you can celebrate... If you're waiting for me to inspect the property... I work for my client... I actually had a builder tell me that I must have 3 million dollars worth of coverage to be able to inspect their home when the home was only worth $175,000... I truly try to keep my prices low but if I must increase it is only to protect my clients....
