Tree removal for a HOA was on the agenda for today along with straightening out a leaning oak tree. The majority of the trees were dead in this group but even the ones that were alive had issues such as canker and cavities. There will be a couple of trees planted nearby to make up for the loss.

This limb extended far over the screened in pool. Every limb needed to be tied off with a rigging rope to a redirect, lowered slowly and pulled with a tag line away from the structure. No tears. No rips. No punctures to the screen was done in the removal of this limb.

What a absolutely beautiful way to end our work week! While pruning a palm tree these 2 owls came out of hiding from beneath the palm fronds. We were able to get several pictures and even a short video of these wonderful creatures.
One of the most rewarding things about tree care is meeting some really great people and being able to enjoy the outdoors. Seeing these owls was the cherry on top to a safe and productive work week.
I personally plan to spend some more time outdoors this weekend with my little ones in hopes they can share the same love for the outdoors as myself.
