To all our loyal customers that have turned into friends, to all the friends that have showed up in hard times to support our vision, to all the vendors whose products have made our store what it is:

THANK YOU! 💚

Our store could not have been what it was without you. Thank you for showing up for a small town herb shop and market.

We will miss you all as we close our doors and look ahead to our next chapters.

May you find peace, happiness, and health in the new year!

Our Story

Green Heart Awakening offers nature-inspired wellness for mind, body, and spirit. In the store, you will find bulk organic herbs, spices, and teas as well as natural wellness products like essential oils and salt lamps. In the studio, you will find a variety of teachers sharing their passion and expertise in yoga, Tai Chi, Reiki, herbalism, and more.

The name Green Heart Awakening refers both to the heart chakra, which is commonly described as being green in color, and to the plants that nourish us, many of which are green.

The heart chakra is the energetic seat of our love, compassion, forgiveness, and connectedness to others. When energy flows freely through the heart chakra, we are able to give and receive love and acceptance.

Plants -- flowers, leaves, bark, stems -- are nourishing for our minds and spirits when they are living and thriving around us. They are equally nourishing for our bodies when harvested and prepared into teas, medicines, and healthful food.
