🍔🐾 Summer BBQ Safety for Pets 🐾🌭
Backyard BBQs are a summer favorite, but many common cookout foods and party items can be risky for pets.
Before you fire up the grill, keep these pet safety tips in mind:
🌽 Skip the table scraps. Fatty meats, bones, corn cobs, onions, garlic, grapes, raisins, chocolate, alcohol, and desserts made with xylitol can all be dangerous for pets.
🔥 Keep pets away from the grill. Hot grills, skewers, charcoal, grease drippings, and lighter fluid can cause burns, stomach upset, or serious injury.
🗑️ Secure the trash. Leftover bones, food wrappers, foil, skewers, and corn cobs can be tempting but may lead to choking, intestinal blockages, or emergency surgery.
💧 Provide shade and fresh water. Pets can overheat quickly during outdoor gatherings, especially on hot or humid days.
🚪 Watch doors and gates. With guests coming and going, pets may slip out unnoticed. Make sure collars, ID tags, and microchip information are up to date.
A little planning can help keep your pet safe while the humans enjoy the burgers, sunshine, and summer fun.
If your pet eats something they shouldn’t, gets injured, or shows signs of illness after a BBQ, contact us immediately.

Okay but… if your pet were human, what would they be doing this summer? ☀️🐾
We used AI to imagine pets as humans while keeping their same personality, attitude, and summer vibe — and honestly, the results are terrifyingly accurate. 😂
Want to try it yourself? Upload a photo of your pet and use this prompt:
“Create a realistic, high-quality illustration of my pet as a human enjoying summer outdoors. Transform my pet into a human character while keeping their original personality traits, expression, energy level, and overall vibe clearly recognizable. Match their fur color, eye color, facial features, and unique characteristics to a believable human version.
The human version should feel inspired by the pet — not a person standing beside the pet. Include subtle visual cues that reflect their breed, posture, ears, markings, or expression in a natural human way.
Set the scene during summer with {insert desired scene here]. The character should appear comfortable, approachable, and naturally enjoying the moment.
The style should be highly detailed, realistic, lifelike, and cinematic — not cartoonish or exaggerated.”
Some pets really do have main character summer energy. ☀️
