Harvesting out in the Phenomenal lavender field with a warm cup of coffee, listening to the gentle buzz of the honeybees and taking in the peaceful beauty all around me. These quiet moments are some of my favorites.

Now it's time to trade my coffee cup for the harvest basket. Today will be another full day of harvesting, and I couldn't be more grateful to do what I love.

💜 Did you know that not all lavender is the same? Each variety has its own unique characteristics, fragrance, and best uses.

From left to right:
🪻 Grosso – One of the most fragrant lavenders, producing long stems and large flower spikes. It's a favorite for dried bundles, sachets, and essential oil.
🪻 Sensational – True to its name, this variety features extra-large blooms, broad silver-green foliage, and exceptional fragrance. It makes a stunning landscape plant and beautiful fresh or dried bouquets.
🪻 Provence – Known for its long, elegant stems and sweet fragrance, Provence is a popular culinary lavender and is often used in cooking, baking, teas, and crafts.
🪻 Munstead – An English lavender prized for its compact growth, early blooms, and sweet fragrance. It's perfect for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens.
🪻 Hidcote Blue – Another English lavender with deep violet-blue flowers and a rich aroma. Its compact size makes it ideal for edging gardens and creating beautiful dried arrangements.
