I’ve worked with a lot of kids and Mom’s and Dad’s over the years and now I find myself in the role as a Mom and a coach. Nothing makes me crazier than poor sportsmanship. It’s not about the judge or the other competitors, it’s about your personal relationship with your horse. Don’t make excuses for yourself or your kids. Do your best by your horse every single day. It all evens out in the end.
