Our 60th Open House

In appreciation of our first responder partners and to the community that has supported us all these years we invite you to our headquarters to join our celebration. We will be having an awards ceremony at 11:00 AM to honor some of our members and their commitment to our community, and lunch will be provided at Noon.

I would like to acknowledge an ESAR team from six years ago but I only know the one that was in charge. He was also the one that found both of my brothers. If you could post this in honor of my brothers and the team that helped find them, I would be very grateful. I can not believe it has been 6 years since we lost my brothers on June 3, 2014. Clint Retherford, my family and I still can not thank you enough for. everything you and your team did in the search for my brothers David Florian and Greg Florian at the Blackwater River that horrible night. You were the one that found David first around 11pm. One by one, divers were either running out of oxygen or the river was getting too dangerous to continue looking. We were told that they were going to stop and continue the next morning when it was safer. We all knew if he wasn't found that night, we wouldn't have a body to view. When everyone else gave up hope, you went back out for one last look at 1am, knowing you didn't have much oxygen left in your tank and the water was getting more dangerous by the minute, and you found my sweet Gregory. You exuded so much bravery, compassion and honor that night as I'm sure you always do. On behalf of mother and father, Pat and Aida Florian and all of my 9 other siblings Rosa(David Langevin), Michael Florian, John (Katie Florian), Chris Florian, Mary Florian, Catherine, David, Tim Florian, Greg. (yes I still include David and Greg), we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
