NMOTC HQ conducted it's dress white uniform inspection on this past Thursday, highlighting the pride, discipline, and attention to detail expected of Navy professionals. Sailors stood in formation while leadership conducted thorough inspections, ensuring uniform standards were met across the board. Dress uniform inspections are performed during the seasonal transitions in uniform to ensure that all Sailors conform to the Navy's uniform regulations. The Sailor's looked sharp and represented the uniform standards such that any seasoned Sailor worth his salt would be proud! Hooyah!

Hospital Corpsman Trauma Training

A continued partnership 🤝 in the science of lifesaving. 🩺

On Tuesday April 06, Rear Adm. Donald Gintzig, (retired) WakeMed's CEO and Captain Nichole Olson, commanding officer of Navy Medicine Operational Training Command (NMOTC) signed the renewal training agreement during a small ceremony to continue partnership and operation of the Raleigh site of the Hospital Corpsman Trauma Training (HMTT) program. During the ceremony, Rear Adm. Charles Harr, (retired) WakeMed Raleigh's chief medical officer gave a short speech reiterating WakeMed's enthusiasm to continue supporting of the program.

HMTT is the Navy's only advanced trauma training program catering only to enlisted medical personnel who are the front lines of injury. The program allows Navy Corpsman the opportunity to perform hands-on care of high acuity patients in a Level-1 trauma facility so that when the Sailors and Marines that depend go into harms way, their corpsman are right there with them....ready.
