The recent wind and hail storms have caused lots of damage and even more confusion, If you believe you may have damage to your home or business, call a local, well-established, reputable roofer or contractor. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT fall prey to the door-to-door roofing companies or public adjustors that may knock on your door and tell you that you have damage and that they will inspect on your behalf. They are scam artists!!! They will have you sign something under the premise that your signature grants them permission to inspect your roof. What you're actually signing is a legally binding contract that commits you to paying them a substantial fee and/or committing you to having to use a specific contractor (a contractor connected to their firm) to do the work. Many of our clients have been hoodwinked into this common scam. Reputable roofing companies and contractor never solicit business by randomly knocking on doors. Never!
