A IT Security tip to my friends on Facebook that use the app "Signal" for secure communication ... With events in Ukraine, the EU Computer Emergency Response team just released a guidance document on how to lock down and secure the Signal Chat application. This is in response to Russian threat actors purposely trying to take over citizens phones in the Ukraine. I believe that will expand.

If you have a Signal app and you don't use it, just uninstall it, and you've eliminated that risk on your phone. If you 'do' use the app and want to keep using it, follow the PDF instructions in the link and secure it.
