This morning’s Story & Craft Time was all about the “Dog Days of Summer,” and it was a tail-wagging success! Some of our little artists even chose to leave their masterpieces behind so they can help decorate for our big event this Saturday!

Join us Saturday from 11 AM–2 PM as we celebrate all things dogs, summer, and community!

-Harley’s Haven will be here with some of the cutest pups available for adoption, come meet your possible new best friend!

- The Perkasie Rotary will be serving up BBQ-style lunch favorites!

-Shop adorable dog themed merchandise from Eric & Christopher, Snuggle Bee & others!

- Saint Rocco’s treats are fully stocked with their delicious chicken and honey flavor, featuring locally made honey from Helts Honey!

- Bring your friendly pups (on leashes, of course!) and come spend the day with us at Grow!

And in case you were wondering… what exactly are the “Dog Days of Summer”? The phrase dates back to ancient times and refers to the hottest, muggiest days of summer that happen around the time the star Sirius (known as the “Dog Star”) rises with the sun. Ancient observers believed Sirius added to the summer heat, and the name “Dog Days” stuck!

So grab your pup, your family, and your summer spirit, we’ll see you Saturday!
