Well, Richard Carter and I have reinstated our judgeship with Kansas City Barbeque Society. We’re sitting in on a judge’s class in Roswell GA on September 28 to brush up on rules and regs. Hoping to get back into competition soon.

Well, cooking and no sleep is over and now just waiting for the decisions. Awards at 3:30.

Our catering event for Southeast Produce Council held at Spice World in Orlando on March 1st was awesome. It was a little chilly and breezy, but everyone bundled up and got it done. Many thanks go out to our family Debbie, Randall and Cheryl who made it possible. Debbie braved the cold and wind with Richard setting up and starting the ribs and chicken @ 3:00 am in the parking lot. I didn't realize how many Spice World products we use without even knowing it. Nor did I realize the work involved in just growing garlic, much less the processing of all the products they sell. Check out the photos of the event.
