For welding student Omar Granados, choosing FPC meant staying close to home while gaining the skills and experience needed for a successful career. Through hands-on training, he learned more than just welding techniques—he developed workplace skills, learned how to prepare for the job search, and gained confidence working alongside others. Omar is now employed by Ball Welding.
His advice for anyone considering FPC? "Go for it." He says FPC is a great community college with instructors and staff who genuinely care about helping students grow and succeed, no matter where they want to go next.

The FPC Allen Campus would like to thank the donors and participants in our Pulled Pork Sandwich and Silent Auction Fundraiser for the Pathways Scholarship Program. Thanks to their generosity, over $5,700 was raised to support the students participating in the Pathways Scholarship Program.
