Pleased to support two Priority Conservation Area Grant Program Awards this morning at MTC - Santa Rosa's Southeast Greenway received $750,000 and Sonoma County Regional Parks received $850,000 for the Sonoma Schellville Trail Design. Sonoma batted above average on these grants awards as we instituted a priority on the first phase of awards to the four North Bay Area Counties. A second phase of $8,000,000 will be awarded in Spring/Summer 2025.

As you all know well, a strong weather system will continue today with impacts from rain, wind, and thunderstorms.

Precipitation will become more scattered this afternoon and evening.

Localized areas will receive heavier rain compared to others.

Flooding of small streams and roadways is likely.
Localized flash flooding is possible.

Russian River is projected to remain below monitor/flood stage.

The greatest potential for severe thunderstorms is this afternoon.
Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible, with locally damaging wind, large hail and/or a brief tornado possible (
