Today, February 3rd, marks the birth of the first woman to obtain a medical degree in the United States – Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell. She was instrumental in support for women to participate in the medical profession and eventually opened up her own medical college for women.
Today we honor our docs and the path the female physicians have paved – then and now. Thank you for all you do Dr. Manjoney, Dr. Fox, and Dr. Davis!
