Be The Light Handy Man Service
Reliable Furniture Assembly & Home Repairs in Austin TX Hi! My name is Jared and I run a local, independent handyman service here in Austin.
“A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

It’s always about taking a step.
I’ve been many places in my life where I let my overthinking get the best of me. Staring up at the wall and letting myself ruminate and normally when that happens, I know that I need to move.
Don’t get me wrong. I think that contemplation is very important to allow integration of things that have happened at our life to help us expand.
However, when we are overly thinking, it turns into rumination and those thoughts can start to distort and twist and can turn into a bit of a dark situation.
So when I get in those situations, I know that I have to ask the question am I moving my body, am I singing, am I dancing, am I creating? Those are some simple questions that can help me to propel forward rather than staying stuck in the mind.
So rather than talk about how difficult your life is and how everything is against me why not take the first step of picking up your phone and calling someone. That very act alone can shift your trajectory in a very quick amount of time.
With all that being said, I can’t wait to show you the new plant growing in the garden bed. What a gift. Thanks be to God.
Peace peace be with you.

Life is really simple and we can over complicate things.
God could put a simple message on your heart to spread joy in the world, but then the ego will step forward and tell you that that it is too simple and there needs to be more concrete examples and concrete proof. This looks like the identity of the perfectionist. Trying to control simple messages to find the perfect answer.
But don’t be fooled, simple messages are the most profound.
And they will kick your ass.
Remember that your heart is the deepest guide to God’s will for you. Listen deeply and hear the call. The heart is not based in ego. So be discerning and careful about what guidance comes through.
Peace be with you 🤍🙏🏻
I had a situation where a client really wanted me to come in the evening time. I had been working on a painting job that day with another client and I just knew that I was going to be tired at the end of it. I would need food and rest to really feel present. Yet they were really insistent on me being there that evening because they needed a bed for their 6 month old child.
An old part of me would’ve just been like “ I really want to please the client and I don’t want to lose them if I say no.”
But what I realized in that moment is if I am not rested and present, I can’t give my best work and be able to connect with the client. One of my favorite things is to connect with people. But if I’m coming tired and gassed then what on earth am I doing these jobs for in the first place?
At the end of the day, it can’t be about making money. Yes, money is important and it pays the bills and keeps a roof over our head. But if we’re making it about money we will be on a hamster wheel for life. We won’t feel gratified for the work complete, and it’ll be less about service and more about serving the matrix.
May we all find the thing that serves our greatest will from God. That’s when we will feel most whole and complete.
Peace be with you 🤍
Within client dynamics, there is Intel there if we are being disrespected.
If we keep getting customers that disrespect us, then there is something going on within our program or identity that tells us that we deserve that kind of disrespect.
However, when we go within and heal those parts of us, those kind of clients will not show up anymore.
Each relationship we have in life is there to teach us a lesson. New lesson, different blessing. If we allow ourselves to stay open and curious of what’s there, we are a head of the game.
And this may be an unpopular belief, but if we keep getting disrespected, there is a subconscious part of us that likes the mistreatment. We have this secret desire to keep manifesting these types of people so that we can be abused. But we don’t want that now do we 😉
Peace be with you 🙏🏻
You can always tell an authentic joyful person from someone who appears to be joyful.
The biggest part of life is learning how to discern from true joy and a fabricated sense of self. You will be able to spot true joy, if you’ve experienced it for yourself. But the only way one can experience that deep, blissful joy that is connected with God the father and mother is to experience the shadows and what lies beneath.
When you know that, you are always protected by God, and one will never fear the shadow. One goes as a spiritual warrior into the darkness so that they can better serve everywhere.
God does not pick and choose who to love. There is only unconditional love that God offers however that love is not the fabricated kind. The conditional kind. It’s the kind of love that will cut through glass. It’s the kind of love that will shake someone’s being to their very core to where anything that is not pure must go.
And it’s the kind of love that will walk through death’s door in complete an utter surrendered presence.
What’s the most challenging thing for you and being an entrepreneur and how have you navigated it?
What’s a project that you’ve wanted to take initiative on?
Shining a light on it is the best first step 🙏🏻

Every different task or challenge that I’ve been confronted with I have two options: I can learn from this challenge or I can let it beat me to the ground and consider it a failure.
This is where a perfectionist can be born. Where failure is a thing that terrifies them and so they do whatever it takes to make things perfect. They avoid any type of mistake and put a chokehold on creativity.
But if we can allow ourselves to look at things through the eyes of a child, nothing appears to be a failure and everything feels like a beautiful lesson and a game to learn something entirely new. We don’t get scared to make a mistake if we we raise ourselves to see mistakes as blessings.
So the next time a mistake comes up, breathe. Reframe it as a lesson rather than a failure. It will change your life.
