Friends, the Cowboy Competition will be meeting on the 3rd Sunday this month of May instead of the usual 4th Sunday, due to the annual Cowboy match in Lockhart overlapping. So, all you Cowboy shooters, get out there this Sunday morning for your match, and it will return to normal 4th Sundays again next month. Yeehaw!

The gate at the Club is down for maintenance. The recent flooding was so severe, that the door control equipment was under water. Despite it being elevated some 12 inches above ground, it was still flooded. The UPS inside of the box was almost completely submerged as well. I didn't have a measure tape to check actual distance, but the interior water line was probably around 18 inches above ground level. So, I'll be ordering parts to replace all the destroyed equipment. In the meantime, use the wire/rope that is on the gate to secure it until the electronics are restored.

Just another example of everything getting more and more expensive. This is for only 2 pickups a month of a small 3 yard dumpster! This latest price hike was almost an exact $100 over the prior monthly charge. While the prior increase was to "convert diesel trucks to LNG", this 21.2% price increase is exclusively a CPI price hike.
