Did you know that your camera phone uses a wide angle lens? A 26 mm wide angle, usually. A wide angle shows more of the scene than a longer zoom type lens.

What this means for you is that when you take a photo of a person, or a selfie, unless you know how to exactly position the phone, your head will be bigger than in real life.

Most of the time that's acceptable, but when it comes to your professional headshot, or a nice portrait that you want to give away to a loved one, well, you have a big head.

If it's a full legnth photo, not only will your head look bigger, but your body will be kinda squaty, and your legs will look shorter.

Don't look slightly weird. Call a professional photographer who knows what they are doing and set up a professional shoot.
