Dwarf babies incoming!!! We don’t breed our dwarf colony very often, so if you want dwarf rats from Tiger Tail, now is the time to get on the wait list!! Here’s a picture of Luna and the new babies to wet your whistle 😍 I have space for one adopter to go on this list, and it’s first come, first served. This may be our only dwarf-to-dwarf breeding this year, so don’t miss out if you’ve been waiting.

Yesterday was a tough day at the rattery. It was time to say goodbye to Moogie, one of the best rats I’ve ever known. She was outgoing, sweet, and always ready for a treat. If you have a Moogie baby (or sibling), snuggle them a little for me ♥️

Here’s a few pictures from the recent photo shoot for the “sewing stuff” litter. Most of the items in the pictures are vintage or antique sewing items I inherited from my great grandmother (who probably rolled in her grave when she realized I was letting rats crawl on her things…). She passed her love of sewing on to me, though I don’t have as much time to enjoy it anymore.

Another photo shoot in the books! Many times, when the rats do their first photo shoot at 3-4 weeks of age, it’s the first time they’ve been out and away from their mom. It’s the first time being handled for more than a few seconds at a time. You can see how nervous they are at first, and then their confidence builds!
