In February for CHD Awareness Month my family wears red for a very special boy in our lives, Maverick. Maverick was born with a congenital heart defect and had to have open heart surgery at just six days old. Thanks to the amazing doctors at CHOP, Maverick is turning seven this year! We have been lucky to have him in our lives for almost three of them and our lives have been so much brighter because of it.

This year I decided I wanted to do a little something special for my boy Mav and try to paint the town red for him. I’ll be making these shirts for anyone interested and 100% of the profits will be donated to CHOP in Maverick’s name
