Fragile Frame

This Friday, I’ll be sharing four original songs at Manoa Community Church Good Friday service. This song, “Broken for You,” has a special place in my heart. I first wrote it in high school, before I came to faith, and later rewrote the lyrics to reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice for us.

The other three songs have been written over the years as a believer and are carefully curated to align with the Passion narrative in Mark’s Gospel. Pilate handing Jesus over to the give him “What the People Want.” And “Forsaken,” reflecting Jesus’s cry from the cross, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?” This service deeply moves me, often bringing me to tears as I reflect on the depth of Christ’s love.
